Once you approve your design, a computer-generated mold is made. This is then stamped into metal to create the raised and recessed areas of the medal. The medal base is plated in gold, silver, or whichever medal plating you have chosen. The recessed areas are then filled with coloured enamel paint (or translucent colors, which look amazing!), separated by the raised areas made by the metal outlines in the design stage.

The layers of enamel paint are applied to the recessed areas. Once the enamel is baked and dried, the medal’s colors actually sit slightly lower than the raised metal areas, giving the finished medal a distinct outlined look.
